The Araluen Arts Centre is the centre of entertainment in Alice Springs. Araluen regularly hosts live theatre performances, exhibitions and arthouse cinema just five kilometres from the centre of Alice Springs.

The Araluen Cultural Precinct (formerly the Araluen Centre for Arts & Entertainment) is a cultural centre incorporating museums and a theatre.

The Araluen Arts Centre operates as the visual art and performance hub of Central Australia, presenting an annual program of exhibitions, performances, and film. Known as the keeping place of stories, Araluen holds within its spaces some of the most significant works of art in Central Australia and brings to the stage world class performances from around the nation (and at times the world).

Opening Times

Summer trading hours (1 November until 28 February): Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 4pm, Sunday 10am - 2pm. Closed Mondays

Tourist season trading hours (1 March - 31 October): Open daily from 10am-4pm.

The Araluen Cultural Precinct is closed Good Friday and for two weeks over Christmas and New Year.
